3 Dogs Studio

Guymon has several places to shop around town, but for some unique items only found in larger cities, a trip out of town can be an inconvenience.
Now in Guymon and close to home is the new Three Dogs Studio with a wide variety of gifts perfect for the holiday season.
Although owner Lori Mendenhall has had the studio open since April, she recently finished renovations and held her grand opening on Dec. 5.
She has added several new and unique items, many from Southwest artisans that can't be found anywhere else in Guymon, including bright hand painted furniture from designer Christie Kennelly, Cowhide Crosses from Bungalow 702, Garden Deva out of Tulsa, Mosaic by Jill Kernodle, John McDonald Blown Glass, Isabel Bloom Sculptures and a wide variety of Tie Dye clothing and accessories from Lori's own TieDye and Batik.
The first step inside Three Dogs Studio located at 405 Village Sopping Center, one door East of Zippy's on Hwy. 54, is a blast of multicolored madness. Lori has been making tie dye for several years now and has a large collection of clothing and accessories for everyone of all ages including large colorful tapestries that decorate her store.
Art festival and craft show enthusiasts may be familiar with Mendenhall's work.
She has been selling tie dye at art festivals and craft shows for several years including the Wichita River Fest, Tulsa May Fest, Firehouse Art Center, Paseo Art Festival and her biggest show of the year at the Winfield Blue Grass Festival.
The hottest item this year, according to Mendenhall, has been her velvet scarfs that are selling "by the bushel basket" both at craft shows and at her online web store MarleyTieDye on Etsy.com.
In addition to the wide variety of gifts, clothing and accessories, Lori provides a used book exchange service for anyone looking to share or find new and interesting books or authors.
Come on down and see what the Three Dogs Studio has to offer this holiday season. Open from 12 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
